Deep Vault
Raid. Loot. Get out alive.
Deep Vault is a top-down pixel-art loot extraction game with short, tense raids. Drop into a dungeon full of skeletons, vampires, mimics and liches, grab everything you can carry — and reach a portal before the fog closes in. Die, and you lose everything you brought.
How a raid works
- One raid takes about six minutes. After the first minute a fog ring starts shrinking toward the center of the map, and the exit portals switch on.
- Leaving is the only way to keep loot. Stand on a portal for a few seconds to extract. Everything you carry and wear goes to your stash.
- Death takes everything you brought. Gear included. Better gear means a bigger risk.
- Go deeper or go home? Clear the central hall for a chance to descend into the Vault — harder rooms, locked silver and gold chests, and the Death Knight on his throne.
Between raids
- Village hub: a stash to keep your loot, a trader, a blacksmith and an alchemist.
- Craft and upgrade: smelt ore into ingots, forge gear from recipes found in the dungeon, upgrade weapons and armor up to +3 (with a risk of failure).
- Brew potions from herbs that grow in the dungeon.
- Level up and spend points on perks: toughness, crits, double strike, faster hands, bigger backpack…

Early build — feedback wanted!
This is an early development build (v0.1.0). The balance is still changing and there will be bugs. Your progress is saved in the browser; it survives page reloads and game updates, but clearing site data will reset it.
I'd love to hear what you think: what was fun, what was confusing, where you died and why. Use Pause → Send feedback in the game, or leave a comment below.
Stats: on first launch the game asks whether you want to share anonymous raid stats (how raids went: outcome, time, what dropped). No names, no emails, no personal data. You can turn it off any time in Pause → Settings → Share stats.
